Kentucky Straight Bourbon

Third Oak.

Released by judgment, not schedule. If it doesn't meet the Third Oak standard, it doesn't ship.

What It Is

Selected at peak maturity, not minimum age.

Third Oak Bourbon is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon guided by selection, not schedule. Each release is chosen only when the barrel reaches balance, not when it meets a minimum age.

There are no standard timelines. No forced releases. No decorative storytelling.

Why It's Different

The third decision is the hardest.

Most bourbons are released by rule or recipe. Third Oak is released by judgment. The name refers to the final and most difficult decision in bourbon making, knowing when oak, spirit, and time are in harmony, and having the discipline to wait.

This philosophy results in fewer releases, tighter selections, and consistent quality across batches.

The Standard

Scarcity is a result.

Not a marketing tactic.

The Bourbon

Kentucky Straight

Selected at peak maturity, not minimum age. Small, deliberate releases. No volume-driven production.

The Bottle

Architectural Restraint

No front labels. No decorative emblems. Tall, heavy glass with engraved branding. Texture and proportion do the work.

The Shelf

Quiet Presence

Performs best beside single barrel selections, limited reserves, and high-integrity, low-volume producers.

Who It's For

Quiet. Serious. Distinctive.

Experienced bourbon drinkers

Collectors seeking credibility over hype

Customers trading up from Japanese whisky, mezcal, or reserve Scotch

Buyers looking for something quiet, serious, and distinctive
