Why It's Different
The third decision is the hardest.
Most bourbons are released by rule or recipe. Third Oak is released by judgment. The name refers to the final and most difficult decision in bourbon making, knowing when oak, spirit, and time are in harmony, and having the discipline to wait.
This philosophy results in fewer releases, tighter selections, and consistent quality across batches.
